Interconnectedness, 2025

In my practice, I combine painting, set design and film photography. A kind of painterly tableaux, incorporating human figures. Key aspects are painterly composition, spatiality and poetic encounters between space, humans and shapes. The process is complex and slow, images evolve intuitively and begin with sketches, before proceeding with a larger painterly installation in the space. The human being interacts with the setting in a performative situation, which is photographed with a camera using film. The photographs are all of the size 116x100 cm which are then mounted on acrylic glas and aluminium.

In this work I show both a spacial painting as an installation during the exhibition, that painted canvas and the scenographic objects have been used during the creation of the artworks of Interconnectedness.
